The jacket fits really well and is slimming where it is necessary. It required no tailoring, and was a lot better quality than what I was expecting for a $395 blazer. After putting it to the test in the 96 degree Texas heat, I really got to see how it performed for summer. While not the coolest jacket (in terms of temperature), I was able to stand out in the sun for about 30 minutes taking the pictures below with minimal sweat. So it should be a great fit for that summer wedding you have yet to attend. I love that the jacket is has some subtle hints to it, for example: the pink inner lining and under-collar, the double barrel cigar pocket, and the two functional upper buttons. The fabric gives the blazer some texture without being too in you face, which is a plus in my book!
Overall, I love the blazer and will put it to good use this summer. I will hate when I have to transition out of it for the fall. I think that Emmie and the ladies over at SoPro have really stumbled onto something with their Gentleman’s Jackets and line of other blazers. Take a look at the pictures below and then go pick up a blazer on their site for yourself. Also, don’t forget to leave a comment below letting me know what you think of the blazer!
